Retelling a text

There was a kid that likes to run. He lives in Nandi, a part of Africa. He ran through the village. 

When he was older he joined the Olympic games.  

He went to a school where you learn how to run in the Olympic games. In the Olympic games there are events. The kid had to run 1500 meters.
