Tāne Mahuta
Activity 1. Day 2
Why I want to visit Tāne Mahuta? 1. I want to see Tāne Mahuta because I want see the biggest tree in New Zealand. 2 . I want to go there because I never been there. 3. I want to go and take a photo of the tree with my family.

Thank you for completing another activity where you had to list a few different reasons about why you'd like to visit Tane Mahuta.
I think in order to appreciate the size of the tree you have to see it in real life. It certainly looks huge on the photo but seeing it in person would be a much different experience.
I'd like to try and reach my arms around it. How many people do you think it would take to reach around the bottom of the trunk?
What do you think the view would be like at the top?
Hello Taua! I really liked all your reasons to visit Tane Mahuta, I am thinking the same as you. I would definitely be sure to take a photo with the giant tree as a memory of what I was able to do. Were you able to find out how tall the tree was? Good job.
